About The Founder - Elkira Kuzuciya
Elkira Kuzuciya, who is a 1st gen Nigerian American, was 20 years old and in University when she started Abyssal Secrets by herself. Formally known as MoonlitGrounds.
Coming from a long line of traditional and non-traditional healers, it is in her blood to help people in various ways. Both of her parents are in the medical field. She has a natural nurturing side to her that allows people in all stages and walks of life to open up to her upon first meeting her. Children and animals too. She has always been this way since she was a child. And this exact trait is what makes her trusted by others today.
Elkira has the necessary experience and knowledge to ensure that you are receiving the very best from the abyss. Her expertise is like no other and with the knowledge based from her family members, both living and dead, as well as University level herbal courses, you can be assured that you are receiving well-crafted products of excellence and quality. With her ever-growing and vast knowledge of herbs and herbal blends for both spiritual and physical needs, Elkira presents to you an array of beneficial products of her very best.
Her practice revolves around honoring her ancestors and Nigerian Gods/Goddesses and other spirits found within the Hausa culture. Hausa is one of the three main ethnic groups found in Nigeria along with Igbo and Yoruba. Many are familiar with the Yoruba’s Orisha, but little is known about Hausa pantheons. Elkira has unique insight on this as it is the culture of her blood.

Elkira has always been in touch with the other side since she was young. She has always loved the paranormal and has had various experiences while growing up. Her Nigerian great-grandmother, who has continued to be one of her mentors in the after-life, is the one who further enhanced Elkria’s intrigue of the paranormal. While she was alive, Elkira’s great-grandmother was an extraordinary healer who had people from all around flock to her to be healed physically and spiritually. Her abilities were like no others and many people sought her out. This is a figure that Elkira admires and respects in her life.
Her teachings have been passed down and live on through her children and on to Elkira. She doesn’t mention it much, but Elkira is excellent at healing through her hands. Many family members and friends have been moved by Elkira’s healing abilities and she only gets better and better with time. This is not to say she doesn’t believe in medications and official help from professionals, she absolutely encourages regular check ups and taking care of yourself. Elkira always emphasises the importance of taking care of yourself spiritually and in the mundane and that the balance must be upheld.
Aside from the spiritual aspect of her life, Elkira works heavily in the Entrepreneurial world. She herself has an entrepreneurial mind which is what led her to open her own shop. Her knowledge from experience and also the course she took to earn two degrees in Business Administration (Bachelor’s and Masters) has led her to meet the most interesting people that continue to learn from her and teach her. She has helped other local entrepreneurs on starting a business or even along the way with consultations and she will continue to do so, as it is her passion. She enjoys working with and connecting with other entrepreneurs and encouraging/helping them in their journey at any point, not just because she’s helping another but because she can also gain new insight from those she interacts with. It’s a mutual-gain relationship.
